Classic Mode: Spin the LoL Champion Wheel for a Random Pick (2026)
LoL Wheel Classic mode spins a visual champion wheel and gives you one random pick. Filter by role, track usage, start viewer votes, and keep your games fresh.
What Is Classic Mode?
Classic mode is the original LoL Wheel experience. A visual spinning wheel filled with champion icons. You click spin, watch it rotate, and land on a random champion. The result appears as a full splash art card with the champion's name, title, and lanes.
It's the fastest way to answer the question every League player asks: "What should I play?"
How Classic Mode Works
- Open lolwheel.com — the Classic tab is selected by default
- Filter by role using the lane buttons (Top, Jungle, Mid, ADC, Support) or leave it on All
- Spin the wheel by clicking the center button
- Watch the animated canvas wheel rotate through champion icons
- See your result in a beautiful splash art modal
- Decide — mark as "Use" to lock it in, or spin again
Role Filtering
Not every game lets you play any role. Classic mode's role filter ensures you only get champions for your assigned lane:
- Top — fighters, tanks, and bruisers
- Jungle — gankers, farmers, and objective takers
- Mid — mages, assassins, and roaming threats
- ADC — marksmen and bot lane carries
- Support — enchanters, tanks, and playmakers
- All — every champion in the game
The filter updates the wheel in real time. Switch from All to Support and the wheel shrinks to only support champions. Switch back to All and every champion returns.
Usage Tracking
Classic mode includes built-in usage tracking so you can run champion challenges without a spreadsheet:
- Use — marks the champion as played; it won't repeat when you spin again
- Used — marks it as already played from a previous session
- Picked / Unpicked lists — see which champions you've played and which remain
This makes marathon challenges possible. Spin, play, mark as used, spin again. Work through every champion in a role or even every champion in the game.
Viewer Voting
Streamers can involve their audience with Classic mode's voting system:
- Spin the wheel and get a champion
- Start Vote — a unique voting link is generated
- Share the link in chat — viewers open it on their phone or browser
- Viewers decide — they vote "Play" (use the champion) or "Skip" (spin again)
- Live results — the streamer sees vote counts update in real time
- 60-second timer — the vote auto-closes after one minute
The voting page shows the champion's icon, name, and two large buttons. It works on any device and needs no login or download.

Classic Mode Challenge Ideas
The Full Roster Challenge
Set the filter to All. Spin, play the champion, mark as Used. Repeat until you've played every champion in the game. Track your progress with the picked/unpicked lists.
One Role, One Week
Pick a role. Every day for a week, spin Classic mode with that role filter. Play the champion you get in at least one game. By the end of the week, you've played 7 different champions in the same role.
Stream Vote Marathon
Every game during your stream, spin the wheel and start a viewer vote. Chat decides every champion you play for the entire session. Great for interaction and content.
Blind Pick Roulette
Queue for blind pick with a group of friends. Everyone spins Classic mode at the same time. Whatever you get, that's what you play. Roles are assigned by the champions — if you get a support champion, you're playing support.
Classic Mode vs VS Mode
Classic mode gives you one champion per spin. It's fast, clean, and decisive. VS mode gives you two champions and makes you choose between them.
